In light of recent events, Gates Volunteer Ambulance has sent several members to be trained to teach “Stop the Bleed.”  This is a class brought to us by the American College of Surgeons, The Committee on Trauma and brought locally by URMC Kessler Burn and Trauma.  This course is designed to teach you, the public and bystanders, how to make an immense difference in saving people’s lives at a mass casualty event.  You are the ones who are going to make the biggest difference in saving lives!

Gates Volunteer Ambulance is offering this training, free of charge, to the public.  Please follow this link in order to enroll in a training session, more training opportunities will be posted in the near future.  For any questions please contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
