Gates Ambulance offers a wide array of community programs to promote good health and community.
Blood Pressure Clinic
Your blood pressure is one of the most important indicators of your personal health and everyone should know what their ‘numbers’ are and what they mean.
We offer this FREE weekly clinic every Tuesday at either our Headquarters or the Town of Gates Town Hall from 11:00 – 1:00. In order to better serve our community we have added an additional location to our weekly clinic at our Spencerport station every Tuesday from 11:00 – 1:00.
Please note that while the BP clinic is a regularly scheduled ‘event’, always feel free to stop by the base at any time if you would like us to take it.
Car Seat Inspections
Free Car Seat Inspection Clinics are held on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Gates Ambulance station two located at 1600 Buffalo Rd (just West of Howard Rd). Call 247-5519 for an appointment.
Almost 90% of all child safety seats are installed incorrectly or misused by their owners! Let us help give you peace of mind, for you and your family.
Gates Volunteer Ambulance Services provide no-charge loans of personal equipment to help our town members get back to health, such as wheel chairs, crutches, canes, and walkers.
Feel free to contact us at 247-5519 at any time to request one of these items. Please note that because of health codes we do not have commodes.
The loan closet is available to Town of Gates and Ogden residents only.
Special Event Standby
Gates Volunteer Ambulance may be able to provide a stand by ambulance for some community functions. For more information and pricing on this service please fill out this form, and email it to Gates.Standbys@Gatesems.org.
