Heartsaver CPR/AED and First Aid

The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
This course is Layperson focused, and not intended for Healthcare Providers.

- First aid basics
- Medical emergencies
- Injury emergencies
- Environmental emergencies
- Preventing illness and injury
- Adult CPR and AED use
- Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
- Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR
Cost: $110 for non-residents, $60 for people who live or work in Gates, Spencerport or Ogden.
The card issued is valid for 2 years.
Length of course: 4-6 hours. Most sessions do not include a lunch break, due to this, we recommend a small quiet snack.
Target audience: Scout leaders, daycare workers, lifeguards, security guards, or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
